Time for something a little obscure.

Earthquake

There was an earthquake yesterday and apparently, I failed to grasp the severity of the situation and how close we came to a complete collapse of modern society because I didn't panic like the rest of the people.

It was pretty tense during the earthquake of course but a short while afterwards it seemed fine. I ate a small meal and went to the gym inside the mall. The gym was closed due to safety reasons, can you believe that shit? Figures. When I do go to the gym, there's a valid reason for me not to. Anyway, I went home, read some books and then went to the school late in the afternoon only to find out it was closed. So I went home, played some Star Wars: The Old Republic and then went to sleep amidst the mild aftershocks.

It seems that while I went about my daily business, there was a great panic downtown. People were running due to false reports of water levels rising due to a tsunami. Honestly, it never crossed my mind that a tsunami was imminent but I guess I'm the idiot because people were on their roofs and heading for the hills.

Crazy.

An Update

It is time for my review of Never Back Down. Hahaha! Just kidding! Maybe some other time.

Yesterday, the President insulted the Judicial branch of government to its face. While others would call the President's actions tactless, disrespectful and unbecoming of his office, its refreshing to see someone express his honest views even if it did make him look like a dick. The President sure takes his "transparency" gimmick seriously.
